Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.
Veach said today with Florio that he and Reid have texted with Damien. Veach made it clear tho that Damien is the starter and CEH is the backup heading into the season [Reply]

That's Andy. He will keep Damien as starter until CEH has taken over so many of the carries that he can no longer fake it. [Reply]

Hunt only played until Ware went down with an injury. Expect CEH to get half the reps. Damien will be in on third down because he’s a great blocker. [Reply]

He didn't say that Williams is the starter..just texted him to let him know that they were takng an RB...no way they are using a 1st round pick on a "back up" my friend :-) [Reply]
Think this move could help Kelce long term. He is the go to guy for short passes and defenses know it. He can beat double coverage and catch in traffic of course but dude takes some shots. A few times last year I really worried for him. He’s a tough SOB but you can’t do that forever. Having another serious short pass threat will take the heat off Travis and 1) mean he will take less big shots from LBs teeing off on him and 2) get him 1 on 1 where we know he can get huge YAC

Eh If you listen to it again Veach days Damien is the starter. Now what Reid does is up to him [Reply]
It would be awesome to see Pat in the Pistol with Williams on the right and CEH behind him. Reid can call RPOs but can let Williams and CEH run the option, I'd rather not see Mahomes out there running it as much. [Reply]
From Albert Breer’s article asking GM’s about draft picks/classes:

Also another exec said that our first 2 picks could be big difference makers if they hit. [Reply]
Veach said the Chiefs drafted CEH because the offense wasn't getting as many yards on 1st down runs as they expected from the blocking provided. I believe that's why Vegas bookies have CEH 2nd behind Burrow in OROY odds. CEH will be the 1st down back and feature back from game 1 on. [Reply]
