BREAKING: USC QB Caleb Williams has DECLINED to medical examinations with teams at the Combine and did not sign off on having his medical records shared with all teams.
Williams is believed to be the first combine invitee ever to decline an examination, per CBS. pic.twitter.com/ipHqfxNBYJ
We’re talking about one of the oldest franchises in NFL history that still hasn’t had a 4,000 yard passer. In the year 2024. That level of ineptitude permeates DEEP. [Reply]
He’s losing support among his team mates.. a shit show.
Players reportedly went to Bears coach Matt Eberflus and G.M. Ryan Poles seeking the ouster of offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Some also reportedly wanted Caleb Williams to be benched, for Tyson Bagent. https://t.co/KJPu6WTVWC
You have to be out of your mind to go to the coach and seriously ask them to switch from the rookie QB who was picked first overall, in a season where it won't remotely matter because the playoffs are already off the table.
I get that it points to Caleb not doing well, not being liked, etc. But come on, If I'm the coach I would laugh somebody out of the room if they brought me that nonsense. [Reply]

Agreed. Those players should be benched for treason. [Reply]
I watched him occasionally while he was in college. He held the ball way too long trying to figure where to throw the ball because he cannot read defenses. He is doing that as a Pro. It goes to his intelligence or lack there of. To top that off he is an arrogant prick.
I laughed when the Bears drafted him over Daniels.
I flip around to different NFL games on Sunday. I swear every time I turn on a Bears game that kid is on his back. Either getting sacked or right after he throws a incomplete pass. [Reply]
