It's a QB driven league... and Plummer, they won 10, 10 and 13 games with Plummer. Mediocre? That was pretty decent.
2006-2010 was the suck - 2011 was the Tebow and that led to Manning. [Reply]

This is what happens when you don't overpay players like Tamba Hali, Dwayne Bowe, Eric Fisher, and LDT.
Elway's first two drafts are vastly superior to any single draft Dorsey has had btw.
I give the Broncos credit for bringing in Manning to win. Idk how much credit i'd give Elway as it was clearly all about Peyton. He could have gone almost anywhere he wanted to go. Elway lucked out and Manning chose there. From there it was easy coasting, as they really didn't even need a head coach either because you got a hall of famer QB and a coach with that deal. Moving on from Tebow was an easy choice so I wouldn't give them too much credit on taking the risk on a broken manning either. They won the super bowl, have to give them credit there. Defense was key but the team was still better because of manning, even with a noodle arm. Manning left and as much as the media wanted to suck their dick, they weren't ever smelling another title. I suspect it will be the same this year unless Romo comes in. That's a bigger gamble than Peyton though and it could easily go south. Chiefs should top this division for the days to come even with Alex Smith. Raiders are the real challenger to us. [Reply]

Funny. Carr's injury was a gift to KC in 2016...
I've read the rumors of Denver's demise before, we'll see. You talk as if it was relatively easy for Denver with Manning. Hell, I can't believe the guy only has 2 rings based on the way you put it on the table. [Reply]

Was Houston being out for the majority of the past two seasons a gift to the rest of the AFCW? :-) [Reply]

Not really, as you put it ... it was the majority of two years. Losing your starting QB late is a killer for most teams. I say most because it probably would have helped the Chiefs. [Reply]

So, we got lucky because Carr missed ONE ****ing regular season game, but Houston being out for the majority of two seasons isn't even close to the same thing? That's horse shit, and selective excuse making. [Reply]
