His vision was much better this week. Can’t wait to for Andy to use this guy in space.

Boy, Isiah Pacheco is fun to watch with the ball in his hands. Just an explosive and electric player. Can't wait to watch him as he develops. #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/NfDXSsmgnc

Also want to point this out. Pacheco using his strength and speed to win the edge and get more yards.

Clyde’s not doing this

— Isiah Pacheco mini-thread

Impressive display of bust and speed to get the edge here, turning this into an 11 yard gain, but he could have scored. This is where he needs to anticipate more and use his speed north and south.

Watching that I see no vision problems more like getting the most out of what was there.

He looked better than Clyde has ever looked.

Definitely excited about his performance in this game.
This.

Yeah, I think you're right. Pretty sure that Toub tells his returners to bring it out every time, at least in preseason. All of them do it.

Uh yeah, anyone bitching about his vision at this point should be buried alive, he displayed it all here... patience, vision, exploitation of angles etc etc

Pacheco listed as the 'starting' Kick Returner.

Kinda love that, to be honest. Gets him used to NFL speed and also gets him some open-field running to get his bearings about him. Catching a kickoff is pretty easy so it's not like there's the skill issue that comes with returning punts.

He could really do some damage as a KR and as the current 3rd RB, that's a safe place to get him game action without risking anyone on your 2-deep. Really a good intro to the league, IMO.

Jamaal returned kicks for his first couple years in the league.

That said, Pacheco is clearly the next Jamaal Charles. Let’s go.

Nate Taylor had a big gushing write up about him and how the Chiefs see him as a star in the making or something.

We'll see but you know that's coming straight from Arrowhead 1.

The run at 40 seconds was a mistake; just a little more patience and he has a giant hole inside he could've maybe housed. The TE did a fantastic job sealing that lane. And the run at 50 seconds had a cut-back lane that he was a little too eager to see develop so he went full Knile with it.

But what you can see from those clips is that he's running with his head up and his feet are constantly productive. He's not taking those useless hop steps - when he chops his feet its with a plan and with an idea as to where he's going next.

You definitely see a little bit that can salve the vision concerns. He's still not perfect, but some of that is experience (that run at 40 seconds, for instance, is one he keeps inside as he matures, IMO).

He's looking pretty good. There are definitely tools to work with there. And the run he took outside that he shouldn't have still gave him an opportunity to showcase his speed and make something out of it when most RBs get stopped for a couple yards there if they don't let that hole develop.
