Because of where KC drafts they will be hard pressed to outbid anyone without giving up significantly more. Honestly the Tenn pick in the third round is about the only decent pick KC could offer. [Reply]
The raiders aren’t completely against dealing with us. They traded with us for that DT that sucks. I know it’s a false equivalency, but that at least showed there’s an open line of communication. [Reply]

I used to be a fan of us trading for him, but if he’s getting suspended by the team because of disruption due to lack of targets, he would only be a distraction here short and long term and I’d rather dodge that bullet. [Reply]
What I mean is that Cooper is not going to get 1,000 yards in the remainder of this season, even if he shows up tomorrow. Not in this offense.
There's nobody that's going to put up #1WR type numbers.
There are guys that might be nice pieces, that can help the team, sure.
But it's not Madden. It's an offense that's notoriously difficult to pick up.
Veach isn't going to give up multiple high picks or really any top #64 type picks for a rental. He never has, and I'd be shocked if he did so for any WR over 30, or that comes with a massive price tag.
Diontae would be great, but I seriously doubt that's do-able.
Cooper is your best bet, and he won't be a 1,000 yard guy here in what remains of 2024. He could be a nice piece as he works into the offense. [Reply]
This team could have easily hung 30+ on a pretty dang good Saints defense. That is without Pacheco and Hollywood who should be back for the playoffs. Im starting to think this team can cruise to a 15-2 or 14-3 record and #1 seed. Getting Pacheco and Hollywood back late in the year will be a major shot in the arm. Im indifferent but starting to think Veach won't overpay for one of these receiver trade candidates being discussed. [Reply]
