Here’s where Ming stands:
You can say whatever you want about the Chiefs but just not in the GDT. That’s a live reaction to the current game and it’s sacred and anyone who overreacts is absolutely a fucking loser and a traitor.

Here’s where TwistedChief stands:
This team has had ample success and we should all be infinitely grateful. But this season has been very frustrating and people who feel the need to vent in the GDT are entirely within reason. But people who spend the rest of their week shitting on Veach and Reid and Mahomes are the real losers because they’re doing it outside of the immediate frustration related to the game and are very narrow minded.

That's kind of the thing about this thread and people in the GDT in general though.... it's always a fucking contest to say the dumbest thing possible.

And I agree with what you're saying, they're barely a playoff team this year and haven't fixed all the things we've talked about all year... and we make those assumptions that it'll be okay, many things are fixable, Mahomes will rise above it all, etc.... and then it's that much more frustrating when it doesn't happen, since we go throug the same cycles every damn year and they have always figured it out.

So, people vent and say stupid shit online.

...and then we don't just vent about losing a game in the first quarter, we vent about being one and done. And then that's not enough, they're going to not just lose to the Bengals, but lose to the Chargers and miss the playoffs... well, and we WANT to lose out. Well, that's not enough either, the great defense is a bunch of frauds, Mahomes sucks, Kelce is done... Veach should resign and be ashamed of himself, the Chiefs should rename the franchise to the Kansas City Frauds and sell the naming rights to the stadium to SEON so we can call the stadium "The Fraud", and then make a giant slingshot so we can launch the Earth into the Sun so we don't have to spend one second more watching this team.

And then we come into this thread and point out someone who said they're going to lose in the first quarter of the game. :-)

This thread has jumped the shark and is ridiculous. But I can’t wait for Ming to bump it every single week until the Chiefs finally lose - which they probably will because it’s reallllly fucking hard to win a SB - and then TEX or Pete or whoever will bump it as a flex to prove that they were right.

This team isn’t beyond reproach in a GDT. But it’s also not worth being so negative right now and then feeling like you called it if we don’t win a SB.
