Trade: Chiefs are finalizing a deal to send franchise CB L’Jarius Snead to the Titans, per league sources.
Chiefs are expected to receive a 2025 3rd-round pick, in addition to a 2024 7th-round pick flop, while Snead will sign a new contract. Trade is pending physical for Sneed. pic.twitter.com/GWjyKAgxZq

The whole team shat the bed at one point or another. McDuffie got cooked all day, which never happens. Sneed wouldn't have made a difference. It was just a bad game.

(Still won lol)
The defense gave up 14 points. A couple plays here and there can be highlighted as bad every single game but at the end of the day this defense is top 4 in points allowed.
If the offense could put the ball in the end zone when they get to the red zone it would go a long way to making things more comfortable. But Mahomes has been playing like ass all season for the most part. The guy is pacing for 22 TDs and 17 INTs and he's sailing wide open 15 yard TD passes into the first row. [Reply]

If you look at that pass to Kelce it was that high , if Kelce jumps and extends he can get his hands on it . Sure he has played to his potential but and the Def didn’t shutout out everyone but most people in here are being a little over dramatic almost like they enjoy being miserable. [Reply]

We've allowed in back to back games mediocre to poor QBs to go right down the field and almost put both games away at the end even with poor offensive weapons. That's a concern...but overall yes it's still a really good defense helped by an offense that goes on insanely long drives multiple times a game. The biggest problem with the offense is the 1 to 2 really easy TDs a game Pat is missing. I have Worthy at TEN TDs if he just completes the wide open throws he's thrown at him. That doesn't count the times he flat didn't se him open by 5 yards. [Reply]

There was little drop off with Watson replacing Sneed. Unfortunately dude got hurt and that’s football. Any team losing their CB2 would be facing this problem.
Having Sneed wouldn’t change Sunday. McDuffie got torched for the first time as a Chief which was shocking.
Defense gives up 14 points and we are bitching about our secondary. We've won most of our games based on the strength of the Defense.
A few have pointed it out, but Pat's play this year has been a far bigger problem than anything the Defense has done. Now, part of that can be blamed that he's taking a lot of hits and I still think he's partially scarred by the Tampa super bowl. [Reply]
Were not missing a highly paid corner, just a competent one. When you have Watson and Mcduffie playing the way they were there's no point in paying a 3rd guy. Especially when you have a roster that has several guys needing to get paid. [Reply]

Right, if the secondary was that terrible surely they would have scored more points right?
If a defense averaged 14 points allowed per game that's probably going to be widely regarded as the best defense in the NFL [Reply]
Jaylen Watson may be the most underrated player on the chiefs. He was having a great year before the injury. I would try to extend him this offseason. [Reply]
