The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

That guy who scored 4 TDs in the 13 seconds game and is constantly open downfield isn't exactly a scrub either. Not to mention a top 10ish TE. Buffalo has two WRs that are better than any WR Mahomes has had the past two years.
Allen had the more talented supporting cast last year and still managed to pile up the miscues and fall on his face in the playoffs at home. Meanwhile, Mahomes took home another MVP and SB MVP while playing on one leg and throwing to practice squad WRs in the AFC title game vs the defense that shut down Allen.
When Allen actually WAS the entire offense (his first two years), he sucked.
Trent McDuffie is the star player that Brett Veach haters keep claiming he hasn’t drafted…and he stole him from a direct AFC Title contender forcing them to take a first round bust instead. #ChiefsKingdom

Yesterday had little to do with the Dolphins and everything to do with the Broncos. Did you watch the game? [Reply]

Belichick had the right defensive philosophy against them (that game came down to an o-linemen missing a first down by an inch). But he didn’t have the horses.
Everything Miami does on offense comes to a screeching halt when you have a good d-line like Buffalo has, and a core that can clog the middle of the field.
Tua doesn’t have the arm to throw to the boundaries. Which is why you see all of his throws on crossers and seams.
Bills take those away and the Dolphins haven’t figured out how to overcome that. They have beaten us 1 time in their last 10 attempts and that 1 time they beat us, we still thoroughly outplayed them (literally double the yardage). [Reply]

Allen made Diggs just as much as the other way around.
Mahomes had a HALL OF FAME wide receiver and a HALL OF FAME tight end and a HALL OF FAME offensive head coach to start his career.
Allen had none of that. He had garbage at WR, a defensive head coach known for terrible decisions and a TE that isn’t even in the league anymore. [Reply]
Speaking with multiple NFL owners, I’m told there is a common feeling that #Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel running up the score on the Broncos was “disrespectful” to the game of Football.

Diggs looked pretty damn good in Minnesota with Case Keenum & Kirk Cousins mixed with questionable coaches (defensive minded team). He averaged 18 yards per catch in 2019 with Minnesota. I don't think Allen or Diggs made each other. They're both very good players. [Reply]
