1. KU may ask local governments to ease some of those complications by providing financial incentives to the project at 11th and Mississippi streets.
2. KU had largely put the east renovation on pause, saying it had no timeline for completing that renovation, and acknowledged it didn’t have enough donor money or other funds to begin the project. Throw in the NIL stuff going on, you got donor fatigue. It is real and it looks like KU is getting a hard lesson in that.

4. But the massive issue is they’re talking about with the new development requiring the additional 100’ from the east side “shrinkage” is truly day one stuff. This is a massive fuck job and a lack of oversight.

I just don't understand how you can do pretty much nothing to your stadium for 100 years and still not have any money to remodel it. It's embarrassing really. What have they done with all the money the Big 12 has given us over the last 30 years? You couldn't have saved any of that to put towards a new stadium? [Reply]
