I think a lot of people only engage with CP to express their Chiefs anxiety. Doesn't mean they don't enjoy the good stuff. They just don't tell us about it. It does make them pretty awful posters to engage with, however. [Reply]

I think he was just illustrating how enormous the available cap space for the Patriots is and therefore how much they'll blow the top off the LT market. [Reply]

This question has been asked many times, I think the consensus answer is that the Chiefs never draft high enough to grab a premier LT prospect (top 10-15 pick at the highest). I do agree the whiff on Kingsley and Wanya needs to be addressed by Clark Hunt and that Veach, although amazing, has room for improvement. That whiff cost the Superbowl. [Reply]

I know it’s a pipe dream but I still wonder if mahomes would consider a giveback. Maybe giving Travis another year is a good excuse to do that. I still feel like mahomes took a bigger contract because he was pressured to. I wonder if he’d consider this if it meant getting him some of the critical support players.
Nobody should expect him to and it’s probably wishful thinking. But if there’s a player more worried about legacy than money in this league, it’s him. [Reply]

No it didn't.
The Chiefs were beaten across the board on that side of the ball. [Reply]
