Just curious do you even know what you are arguing at this point? Because I certainly don't.

Oh yeah. I think we will obviously be able to go deep this year as opposed to last year but I think our bread and butter is still going to be middle of the field and mid distance routes.

The fact that Rice and Kelce were as productive as they were last year is actually pretty incredible

Worthy and Brown should make life much easier for them.

This offense literally has counter punches to any defense opposing defenses run on us.

Drop the safeties deep to adjust for speed? Kelce, Rice, Wiley, Pacheco and Hardman will vaporize you with slants, screens, misdirection and power running.

Bring the safeties up to adjust for those things, any of our guys will run right past man coverage.

Basically…good luck.

2022 was them just murdering the intermediate areas.

So you didn't make his need to know list either>

An article posted probably here on CP months after the parade shooting mentioned this.

It talked about Clyde comforting and shielding a young man during the parade shooting. It went on to detail that Clyde has suffered from PTSD. Not much more info than that.

I came away respecting Clyde as a good human being. My opinion as an RB is still the same as it always has been.

Yeah, this is a "every blade of grass" offense again. You have to defend it all and hope for pressure or a mistake.

One thing that has stood out that I haven't seen discussed is Rice creating some separation downfield against quality corners (we've seen him do this against Williams and Watson as well as against Conner). That's popped up in some clips.

If he can do that in game action, I don't think there's a tendency you can plan for.

Teams may come in thinking they're going to continue to dare Mahomes and company to beat them deep, but I can't see that lasting more than a few games. If the Ravens come out like that Week 1, with them trying to run McDonald's game plan from the 2nd half of the AFC title game, I think it's going to be a very, very ugly result. Like the 1st quarter of the Tampa Bay game in 2020.

Noticed this as well. Even beat McDuffie deep once too.

One thing that's been very apparent is Justyn Ross has been making big plays all throughout camp. A lot of folks love to mock him for being a "camp performer" but the reality is this is only Justyn's second real camp. In his rookie year he didn't even have a real camp due to the foot injury. So his situation is gonna be very interesting to monitor because many posters wrote him off already. But dude was with the first team offense yesterday so we'll see if it continues :-)

Rice reminds me of someone too, but I can never put my finger it. I kept thinking maybe Sterling Sharpe or a faster Anquan Boldin. I still think there's someone else I just can't come up with.

He doesn't have the extra gear but dude has the speed to get open all day.

And now that he has more command he looks like he's getting open with ease.

In fact, he looks cool as can be in that video. I can't figure out how he reminds me of but I feel like there is some shades of Davante Adams there.
Sorry meant to quote this.

The guy is making plays that others aren't. And at some point that's gonna matter.

I expect Kelce's YPC to go up significantly this season. I don't know about his overall numbers because I think they'll load manage him more this year, but he's going to get better looks for sure.

Just gotta hope LT gets figured out soonish. The OL is the only real question mark to me.
