Nzoner's Game Room>The Front Office Should be Ashamed of Themselves
comochiefsfan 06:47 PM 12-10-2023
Look at what they’re doing to the best player in the game.

His own teammates are consistently sabotaging him on a weekly basis.

And now he’s finally emotionally coming unglued.

Just a complete embarrassment all the way around.

Total malpractice and an absolute waste of your biggest investment.

If Veach and Reid had any balls they would cut Toney tonight as he has now single handedly cost us not one but TWO games. I wouldn’t blame Pat if he went scorched earth in his presser. Someone has to hold these clowns accountable and if the FO and coaching staff won’t then maybe he should.

Either way this is unacceptable and shameful.

You should be ashamed of your poor takes….constantly. When are you going to take accountability of them? Oh and your buddy is up in Detroit. Perhaps you should hop off this bandwagon and jump on theirs.

It would be interesting to do a poll here and find out the ratio of those who actually played the game agreeing with throwing the flag compared to those who never really played the game that actually blame the refs for this call. IMO, those of us who actually played through high school and for some college the majority would agree with the call because it is about "the integrity of the game".

I'm not sorry but Pat and Andy are wrong on this. It's just their frustration coming through.

Why did you quote me? I agreed with the offsides call and never once said anything otherwise.

Oh, and I played CB and WR in high school and got college scholarship offers. Mainly Missouri Valley schools, but also got a walk-on offer to Mizzou.

We didn't let Tyreek walk, for starters. He was traded for a massive haul of money and assets on defense that translated into a superbowl win.

Tyreek was at SB 55 where none of the receivers brought their hands. We didn't score a td despite 6 trips to the opposing 30, so don't act like Hill being on the field equals 30 points by default.

When your route runners and pass catchers can't run routes or catch, it doesn't really matter who is at qb.

This team has to get destroyed by a defect and lose a title shot before thing get fixed.

2018 defense screwed us, Veach rebuilt on one offseason. Superbowl win.

2020 o line contributed to a blowout superbowl loss. Veach rebuilt in one offseason for a return to the title game. We lost, but won SB following year.

Now here we are. Terrible receiving corps will hold us back from a title. Veach must overhaul this offseason. A Mahomes rendered completely inert because nobody can run routes or catch isn't something Veach will sit on.

This team led the league in offense last season with the only loss being juju. He drafted rice. There was no way to know that juju leaving would torpedo absolutely everything.

Played 7th-12th grade, and I'm very OK with the players calling-out the NFL's officials for being the shit game-steerers they are. Yes Toney was offside, perhaps they could wait for a worse "well-timed" call by the officials, but last week's 1000000000000000000000% wrong call they stayed PC about, then followed by this, well, it's time they join the fans and pressure the NFL to fix the officiating issues they choose to ignore.

Don't defend the NFL's officials, they get way too many calls wrong, miss calls that they say were part of a bang-bang play, or any number of other excuses NFL officials make after steering a game.

It's time for the players, coaches, and non-owners to get vocal about the bullshit.

They miss EB also. The lack of discipline shows.

I'm not calling for anyone to be fired, but there is a level of organizational arrogance here. They nailed rebuilding the OL, then did it again with the DBs, and thought they were invincible. How else can you explain the decision to throw a bunch of young unproven guys in a room with a first year position coach and assume everything will work out? It's pure hubris.

The rebuild with the OL included signing Thuney and trading for Orlando Brown Jr then snagging the best center in the draft.

The rebuild with the DB's included already having Sneed at corner, signing Justin Reid at safety and then trading up for a star prospect corner in McDuffie.

To date, the WR room has ZERO useful veterans already on the roster.

They need to add FOUR WR's this year. Two vets and 2 draft picks.

Total need 2 more chain movers that can catch the ball and 2 speed guys that can get deep and catch the ball when left in single coverage.

That's what it will take to restore this offense to elite status.

Well gee, when you have to find not one, but two starting tackles and also are trying to shore up your pass rush...

And while hardly a reliable option, MVS was not as horrible last year as this...

And also while drafting at the end of the draft...

And having a QB taking up a huge chunk of the salary cap...

It's almost like dynasties are hard...

It's quite possible that other teams (and refs) got smart to Andy's tactics and have effectively neutralized Mahomes by constant rushing defenses and our WRs having no brains. :-)

after this season there is no fucking way that Veach isn't going to do something drastic. He's either gonna sign at least 2 very good veteran wide receivers or make some blockbuster trade for one great one. And on top of that trade up in the draft to get at least 1 more.

What I can see happening and it’s been voiced numerous times that Diggs wants out. Veach please make the splash trade and trade for Stefon Diggs. Talk about a true #1 WR
