Nzoner's Game Room>Rodgers to Jets
Hammock Parties 02:20 PM 04-24-2023

Trade compensation, per sources:

Jets get:
🏈Aaron Rodgers, pick No. 15, a 2023 5th-rd pick (No. 170).

Packers get:
🏈Pick No. 13, a 2023 2nd-rd pick (No. 42), a 6th-rd pick (No. 207), a conditional 2024 2nd-rd pick that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays. pic.twitter.com/Q2vUMfyZGH

Green Bay: **** off your opinion means shit to us.
Honestly Mahomes is just better than Rodgers. You switch their respective teams for the past 3 seasons and Mahomes probably wins at least one ring over there. I don't even think Rodgers makes it past the Bengals/Bills as a Chief.

Rodgers gets so many excuses made for him but even when GB did supply him with help he almost always came up short. Not saying Rodgers is shit, just that he's kind of a fucking choker.

If you include Andy's playcalling then I agree.

They were right with those teams most of last year with maybe the worst QB play in the league.
Whoa…. Russett WilsINT played last year!

If Rogers wants to prove to GB that they made a mistake in letting him go...

And he shows up to training camp and works his butt off to do whatever it takes to win with a new team...

He could absolutely be a force to be reckoned with.

But as far as I can tell, the guy mostly just doesn't care.

Sure, he's putting enough work in and he does have HOF talent, but he mostly just cares about himself.

Now maybe the change of scene will rekindle a fire in him. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.

But if I was a Jets fan, I wouldn't be gloating just yet.

Given what QB's have been going for, it doesn't seem that bad of deal for the Jets and I'm pretty down on Rodgers.

Rodgers is just as much the issue as GB. Dude is a first class douche bag.

Reminds me of the saying- No matter how good looking she is, somebody somewhere is tired of her shit.

Maybe, but I doubt it.

Look at the end of their season in 2022; with no actual QB they lost their last 5-6 games, but their defense didn't allow any team including BUF and MIA to score more than about 21 points. And look at their offensive weapons. They have a lot of talented receiving weapons, a possible top-10 WR in Garrett Wilson, a top-10 RB in Breece Hall. A top-10 OL, iirc.

And then they have a good coaching staff. I won't say they're top-5, but they're probably top-10.

It's going to be hard for them to be bad this year.

GB has performed abortion after abortion with their drafts and player management.

Rodgers may be a douche, but the front office is a joke.

I think it could have an effect. I think New England could have been a prime trade spot for teams like Baltimore and Minnesota looking for a QB in front of the Commanders (if they decide to go that route) because it seemed most likely that the Jets could go with Bro Jones at LT at 13. NE might stand pat and take him at 14. Hell, the way Bahktiari has sounded lately I don't know if GB won't take him.

:-) What? They were pretty decent last year despite the AIDS fires they had at QB. That team won in spite of Wilson and White. Rodgers at 40 is still a much better QB than either of them. Barring injuries they will be very tough and could win the AFCE.

Packers got a lot for a player they didn't want and who didn't want to play for them.
