What I'm saying is, Mahomes isn't going to ever let his contract fuck the Chiefs cap situation. He clearly understands the advantage. So I just don't see any reason this will ever not be a good thing for us. [Reply]

Not gonna say it fucks it, but 66M, 68M and 64M for the next 3 years is going to leave a mark somewhere. Kinda hard to compain about it when you already have 3 trophies in the case and a 37M cap hit this year though. House money. [Reply]

You can just feel the wishful thinking and desperation with this post. [Reply]

Lol, if he likes losing a lot, let him. None of those teams are going to win anything with him under center.
If he were smart, he'd take a significant pay cut, and let the team use the $$$ saved to retain Parsons and Lamb, and maybe go get another good player or two, because Dak needs a lot of great support to win. He isn't a QB that lifts up his team and makes them better.
He's a front-runner that needs a great supporting cast in all facets just to be competitive. [Reply]
Probably going to be why the Bengals window is a lot slimmer going forward. Drafting isn't really impressive when they're not picking at the top of every round. [Reply]

:-) Why the fuck would Prescott take a pay cut for the Cowboys? Seriously, Jerry and Stephen Jones are a bottom 5 executive brain trust in football. That roster is fucking awful for them to somehow have put themselves in cap hell BEFORE paying Lamb or Parsons. Not to mention McCarthy still being there despite literal decades at this point of him being a failure. [Reply]
IF he truly wanted to maximize his chances and go for a ring the Giants would probably be the best of the realistic possibilities. Keeps him out of the murderers row of the AFC, that defense is going to be fucking ridiculous going forward and they've got Andrew Thomas as an elite LT and Malik Nabers to throw to. Presumably a new coach too once they finally tell Daboll to pack his shit and fuck off. [Reply]

Does he want to win? If all he wants is to get paid, then sure, do whatever, take them to the cleaners. Any team that pays him.
The reality is simply that Dak isn't good enough to win in the playoffs. He's had a single 'good' playoff game over his entire career. The rest have been meh to bad. And the evidence is quite clear: he needs a lot of support from his team to win at all.
If Dak wants to win he should understand that he's not a top-5 QB and do a Brady and take a discount, plain and simple. If he doesn't, then whatever. [Reply]
Don't know if it's just bullshit clickbait scuttlebutt or there's actually substance to it, but Belicheck has been linked to the Giants job if it opens up. That's a pretty fucking insane combo going forward. [Reply]
Don't think Bill can fix Danny Dimes. If they get rid of Danny, and then somehow find a good OC and a better-than-average QB, they might become respectable again sometime before the end of the decade. [Reply]
Bill isn't going to fix Dak. Bill, by all accounts, never spent any time working with the offense in NE. So they'd have to go and find a top OC. Build a great OL. Find another top RB. and acquire at least three top-20 receivers. And Bill would still have to build a top-10 defense. And then Dak would still be most likely to fall on his face in the first round of the playoffs.
