The Chiefs fall short of reaching the peak of NFL History. We are now more in line with the 1994 Cowboys, until proven otherwise. I'll explain in the next post.

The Chiefs fail to reach the peak of NFL History, falling short of the 10-0 greatness of the 1990 49ers.

At 9-1, with a Week 11 loss to a fierce conference rival, they are now smelling much more like the 1994 Cowboys.

The '94 Cowboys would fall to 8-2 that season, with a loss to...the 49ers. The loss was foreshadowing for their eventual playoff collapse in San Francisco.

Will the 2024 Chiefs suffer a similar fate?
