Nzoner's Game Room>Diontae Johnson to the Ravens
WhawhaWhat 12:08 PM Today

It’s a pick swap between the teams — Baltimore’s 5th for Carolina’s 6th rounder this year. https://t.co/3pcgBbQnE1

I love the take I keep hearing, "the Ravens didn't know how to use Derrick Henry yet Wk 1!!!!!!"

As if the Chiefs don't dominate every RB they play.
Not worried about him going to Baltimore at all. I'd just probably rather have him. Ya know considering the reason we needed to trade for a WR was because of injuries to our other WRs. I'd rather have a guy that's healthy, but not quite as good as Hopkins. I just don't think Hopkins will stay healthy and then we're right back in the same boat.

Really? Do your homework concerning my posts in the GDT. I’m capable of objectivity concerning other teams and it doesn’t mean I’m not a Chiefs fan. Again, go look at my posts or have Clay the Clown do it and make an entire fucking thread of ALL my posts not just the ones that fit your inaccurate narrative.

Yeah - they gave up so little for him that it tells me our attention/resources are being directed elsewhere.

If you plan to do nothing at all and that kind of offer is sitting out there, you go ahead and make it just to price enforce.

Buuuuuuut, if you need to keep some cap/capital free for someone else, maybe you go ahead and pass on it.

If anything, the incredibly low acquisition cost there tells me that we have to be looking at someone else for the defensive backfield.

Would've absolutely beaten that. Johnson would be a damn perfect complement to Hopkins here and I absolutely believe we could've had him up to speed in short enough order to be a difference maker.

That one stings a little bit. If for no other reason than I'm not terribly concerned about McDuffie shutting down Flowers - I don't love sending Johnson/Williams out there against Diontae. Creates that 2nd weapon for them that could complicate things for us.
We wouldn't have even been down a pick for him. Hopefully we're looking at CB or something.

Everything keeps working out for the Chiefs. Best case scenario is he’s with Baltimore and not Buffalo. Josh Allen can throw.

I hope not bc I don’t trust any of the corners left not named McDuffie.

Huh. would've liked seeing him in red-and-gold. But he's still not exactly what they need, which I believe is a big body with a big catch radius. But he's pretty good, and BAL will be a tougher out now.

$625,000 as a cap hit for the Ravens.

The "compliment" will be Juju and Hollywood Brown. And if you're worried about Williams and Johnson, I guess you haven't seen the Ravens defense lately!!...but let's pretend like Baltimore just got Justin Jefferson :-)

Which really good teams has he thrown the ball well against?

His two best passing performances were Cincy and Tampa. Both defenses are bad.

Their best win was Buffalo, but they destroyed the Bills on the ground. He was efficient but not prolific through the air as a result.

His other wins are Washington and Dallas. Dallas is a disaster. Washington’s defense is fine.

Is that really all that different than previous years? He started his first MVP season red hot through the air as well and had several 4-5 TD games then.

Looks like his defense is just worse now, so his yardage is up by necessity.

Lol this is ridiculous. Ravens had to move back 10-15 picks at most for Diontae Johnson and pay him $625,000.

Those 2 guys are broke dicks lol. They're already out for who knows how long. So we get a dude that's been injured a bunch over the last few years to replace 2 guys that needed replaced cuz they're hurt, but those 2 are supposed to be the reinforcements? That seems like playing with fire to me.
