You're a troll.

As Broncos exec VP they won 5 out of 6 division titles, 2 Lamar Hunt trophies and a SB.

In that same time period the Chiefs have 1 division title and 1 playoff win.

Good luck with the Steelers...

Elway's 'great' executive legacy has been built on one signing: Peyton Manning. I do give him credit for convincing him to sign there, but every other domino fell into place off of that move.

We'll see how Elway manages to construct a team w/o the benefit of having a first ballot HOF QB behind center.

No more getting the benefit on border line calls, no more FA's lining up to sign with Denver first, due to the expectation of being a Super Bowl favorite w/ Manning under center, etc.

Elway will have to 'earn it' now.

And, to be honest, unless he finds a way this off-season to trade for Drew Brees (which is possible, but unlikely), no AFC west fan is going to be too concerned with Denver in the immediate future . . . .

And yet, there sit both of you on the couch for this year's playoffs, your franchise a shell of it's former self.

Think of it; you will not be going to the playoffs, and Oakland will.

OAKLAND.

will.

:-)

Welcome to the landfill, boys.

Whatever makes you feel better. He built a fantastic defense that is basically signed through 2020 (I'm sure they all figured Manning would play until he was 44, right?) and has the Broncos in excellent salary cap position going forward. The issues this year revolved around a horrid offensive line and the loss of Jackson/Trevathan (contributing to a huge drop off in run defense) which will be a focal point of the draft and FA this offseason.

As far as QB is concerned, I think everyone is pretty comfortable with what Denver has if they're given more than 2 seconds to get rid of the ball and can establish a passable run game.

Denver is a few years away from KC caring about them.....
Wrong, there is a rivalry. ...if not why all the hate and banter on CP and the Mange?
We all despise all things Denver...almost.
MHM...VP...Listo P however are exceptions.
We havent despised them....yet.

Lyin' and cheatin'?

I've said many times that the Chiefs are behind the curve in terms of playing the system in today's NFL.
The best they've been able to come up with is the J-Mac Preemptive Strike, and they couldn't even pull that one off without being caught. Where do good guys finish again? That's right.

Lil' Chiefy needs to go to Dirty School. :-)

He built a great defense. Then let some good homegrown players go which fucked your run D. Next up? The release of Talib.... the release/retirement of Ware.... your first round bust, I mean quarterback doesn't progress this offseason.
Elway gonna have to build a team like everyone else does now, through the draft. He hasn't proven himself there yet.

Now, now young Coochmiester, we mustn't chasten the donkey too harshly regarding the one thing they are actually doing right, even if we don't agree with the pick, and even if we hate his guts for shaming himself by wearing orange and blue.
One day, we too hope to experience the delightful pangs of drafted, QB development.

Otherwise; beat that donkey's ass!

On a side note the HOF dumbass committee has made Davis a finalist again. What an effing load of crap that is. He was barely a damn veteran only playing 6 years. How can a player be considered one of the best ever when your stats are so low.

Undoubtedly I'm in awe of the actual drafting of a qb in the first round. I hope that some day before my time on this planet has ended, I may too feel the hope and utter euphoria of a R1QB. I hope it's a much better choice than trading up to get a "project" qb who hasn't been able to grasp much of the playbook after the first year.
