The other thread is a dumpster fire. I'm sure this will become one as well, but might as well start with a clean slate. I'll at least try to keep the OP updated with any notable news. Feel free to PM me if I miss anything good.

I’ve decided to remain a fan of the Kansas City pro football team even though Rashee Rice is a living menace who wants me and my family dead. I’m willing to overlook it.

I hope he only gets 2 games. People shouldn’t have been on the freeway to begin with. Not his fault tbh

The suspension wont be the issue obviously. He may get 3-4 games but the 5 years in federal pound you in the ass prison is really going to put a kink in his playing time.

A few years ago my cousin was driving eastbound on I-70 in western KC heading to work. Along came a driver going over 100 mph weaving through traffic. The weaving, speeding driver caused my cousin to swerve to avoid being hit and he ended up rolling his van, ejecting him where he died at the scene. The law later learned that speeding driver got on the I-70 turnpike at Topeka and averaged over 100 mph until he caused the accident.

The judge convicted the driver of manslaughter but only gave the SOB 250 hours of community service which he's never come close to doing.

I don't know what penalty Rice will get in the court of law but he'll almost certainly get 2+ game suspension from the NFL.
You hear of convicted rapists getting no jail time all the time. Alot of the times it's the prosecutor agreeing to some type of plea deal.

He was probably paying more attention to his gold chains and rap music than he was to driving! HANG HIM BY THE NECK UNTIL HE IS DEAD!!

Gonna be a pretty expensive mistake for him with the lawsuits flying around. He has a target on his back as a celebrity, but I am guessing he doesn't have the cash these people are demanding in the lawsuits.

It will fall under the insurance limits. The victim's attorney's made them sound really bad, but no one spent the night in the hospital. I think DJ talked about tort reform that is in Texas and the damages are capped as well.
