Nzoner's Game Room>Kareem Hunt signs with the Chiefs [2024 edition]
wazu 01:43 PM 09-16-2024

With RB Isiah Pacheco expected to be sideliend 6-8 weeks, the Chiefs are bringing their former RB Kareem Hunt back to Kansas City for a Tuesday visit, per league sources. Hunt could help fill the Chiefs’ running back void. pic.twitter.com/nDzNGlrcuH

Good luck to opposing defenses when Pacheco returns. 15 touches for Pacheco, 12 for Hunt and 2-3 from Steele a game. All of those touches from a fresh and hungry back. Good luck!
Once Pacheco is back, any touches from Steele need to be nothing more than change of pace runs from the up-back position.

Just make him the damn fullback he was born to be.

He's not a halfback.

Yea if you could give Pacheco Hunts vision he'd probably run for 1500 yards.

What? They’re comparing his speed to mahomes. 20 mph is not that fast and he didn’t hit it once.

Absolutely.

Hunt doesn’t have tremendous speed, he’s got some power but his vision is elite.

Our running game wasn’t this smooth under Pacheco

This is actually...insane.

That Kareem Hunt 13-yard carry is the longest for Chiefs *all year*

Direckshun got his power running team :-)

There’s been a similar uptick in “power,” a format that utilizes a pulling guard to get downhill in the run game. The Chiefs have gone to that 26 times this season compared to 40 all of last season, showing the team’s increasing trust in its big guys up front.

Pacheco has never looked "natural" in the passing game to me.
I agree, I see Hunt able to fulfill the RB passing routes that we used McKinnon for though.
