Seattle didn't run anything resembling their real defense...the announcers were actually surprised they ran a blitz on just one play. "Brock looked decisive.."..yeah with no pass rush, blitzing, scheme or starting secondary in the game.

The Seahawks do what they do. They aren't a complicated defense.

Some of the best defenses in league history don't do a whole lot, but do what they do well. See Tampa Bay. Seattle has players who fit their scheme perfectly and it works great for them. [Reply]

Right. Your starting QB put up 8 points on them in the biggest game of his career then it took a minor miracle for him to put up 18 the next time he played them (seriously, they held your offense to 3 points for about 57 minutes).
What makes you think your backup would actually do a good job against them in a live competition? [Reply]
