Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
For all the douchebag true fans out there that wanted to see play it safe forever, this is what it is like to have a stud QB prospect. **** every last one of you that spent years whining about Geno. [Reply]

I don't think he would have. And I don't mean this in a bad way. I was at the game, and enjoyed every second of it. They had running totals up on the scoreboard throughout the game, and I was wondering the same thing as the game went on. There was under 7 minutes left in the game, and Mahomes had around 230 yards. We were up 14 points. Got the ball right at the 40 yard line. It was cold as heck. I think 2 or 3 first downs pretty much drains the clock to the point where the game is over. Mahomes probably ends up with 250-260 range.
Bray coming in at that point actually added to this game. If you know what I am saying. That game winning drive never would have happened without Bray. The incredible pass to Robinson with Miller hot on Mahoms's heels never happens.
Shoot, maybe that last drive was the deal closer that allowed us to move on from Smith. Who knows. [Reply]
“Well, I think he’s really the complete package,” Hunt said of Mahomes. “You obviously mentioned some of his physical skills, (like) his ability to throw the ball from uneven platforms accurately and down the field. Andy really likes the mental makeup, the way he prepares for games, the way he understands Andy’s offense - which is not easy for a rookie quarterback - and then he also appreciates the way Patrick keeps his eyes down the field to extend plays. You cited a couple opportunities he had last year to make plays where maybe a different quarterback would throw the ball out of bounds. Now, he’ll obviously have to learn the balance of when you take those chances and when you don’t.” [Reply]
“Just a Random Reminder that Patrick Mahomes was a lot better than Josh Allen and I’ll never truly understand why Mahomes didn’t get his deserved love a year ago.” - @OptimumScouting (Eric Galko)
I’ve asked myself this so many times... and I know we’ve talked about it, we’ve discussed the reasons why Mahomes wasn’t viewed as a #1 pick. But damn it, if he isn’t then how the hell is Josh Allen in the top 5 talk? [Reply]
