My expectation was that Key Lime Pie was a healthy alternative to other pies... until I made one. Sheesh! People are fooled... and on... and on... and lime.........

So, you had tasted a key lime pie at some point and thought it was actually healthier than other desserts?

I love the stuff and have made it myself, but never thought of it as anything other than a sugar bomb. I mean, it tastes like straight lime sweetness.

I made a crockpot potato soup. It was good. I don't care about potatoes or potato soup all that much but my wife loves the stuff, so I obliged.

That looks dammed tasty.

I used the last of the butt I smoked with Penne pasta EVOO and bacon. I should have thought tomatillo sauce w/ sour cream. There's always another butt.
