I’m not an option guy but given my earlier analysis, it hasn’t confirmed a bullish trend sign. It’s just moving sideways in it’s current base. I wouldn’t have initiated that at its current state. [Reply]
Perhaps I am old fashioned, but why don't people do the best thing to help AMC stock by just.....going to the theaters. Actually giving them true market value does more than artificially propping it up just to stick it to the man. [Reply]

It's a lot more satisfying knowing you were able to destroy the hopes and dreams of greedy, lying, thieving ,back stabbing assholes that would sell their own mother for a dollar. While at the same time making a ton of cash.

The stock's value currently has very little to do with the company's actual business performance or prospects. I went to a movie at an AMC last night, and it's still mostly a ghost town. [Reply]

But maybe thats just me.
Except this is only going to work until those with short attention spans grow tired of this and move on. [Reply]

Oh I am very well aware of that which is why I am saying what I was saying. Actually boost their performance by going to the movies. [Reply]

It's kind of true, but AMC has been able to shore up their books by selling stock, so they definitely have benefitted from this, as have a bunch of their execs who have cashed in big time.
I feel a little bad for their competitors though. AMC is in great shape for a while while many other theaters are barely hanging on. [Reply]

I like to keep my anonymity and just buy their stocks. :-)
Actually went a couple weeks ago to a show on a Saturday afternoon no less and there were only 20 people or so in the theater, I thought it was kind of sad. However A Quiet Place Part 2 does look intriguing. [Reply]

Yeah I know. I try to buy ahead because I usually watch the stock go up and up. Not sure but I have a feeling something positive going to happen next week. Maybe some upgrades.
Also I did like how an institutional trader came in and bought big dollar amounts. Could have been someone with a massive short to protect their position but unlikely [Reply]
