Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

There were a dozen or so of us butt****s who had identified him as a superstar in the making back last January. He was easily QB1 for me in that draft.
Then, you hear about how bad guys like Reid, Payton, O’Brien, Arians, even the Seahawks and Giants supposedly wanted him.. I don’t get why no one took their shot in the top 5 or 6.
I know he wasn’t the safest pick in the world, but the upside was obvious from day one and he never had attitude or off-field problems.
Footwork and mechanics. Also concerns about Air Raid system. Remember Air Raid Goff struggled in 2016 season and nobody had seen him kick ass in 2017 at the time Mahomes was drafted. [Reply]

Touché, but as NFL coaches, shouldn’t you have confidence in your ability to refine the footwork mechanics?
I guess that might explain why most of Pat’s interest came from offensive ‘gurus’. [Reply]

This is a problem.
We need some sort of database to reference or just romper all the twat-stanks. [Reply]
Saw this on twitter and thought it was a valid point.

Sample size is important, but Alex has never been good in the RZ. Even if Mahomes triples Alex's INT total (5x3=15INTs), this offense will still be significantly improved in 2018. Sorry Butker. - @shwebb29
There's no reason that this offense can't average over 30 points a game with Mahomes behind center. We will be in every game and fans won't be leaving the stadium early because we'll always have a chance to pull out a win! [Reply]

The one-week percentage based on 2 RUSHING TDs in two RZ visits? [Reply]

Temper your expectations a bit. That would put us in 1999 Rams, 2007 Patriots, and 2014 Broncos territory. [Reply]
