And that kick was wild but honestly I'm doubting that lands against most of the guys at 155 in the UFC. Whoever wins Maynard v Edgar will probably beat Pettis IMO. [Reply]
Here's another highlight of that amazing kick from last night in case any of you didn't see it. After I saw it last night I had to rewind it about 5times or so...fricken amazing! It was like Neo in the matrix. Really the only thing keeping that move from being the absolute greatest thing I've seen in mma for my money was a knockout. I honestly am in a bit of disbelief Henderson didn't get knocked out. That being said, KO or no KO that kick was sick...as was the entire fight for that matter. A lot of back and forth action in that fight. The one thing that suprised me (other than that superbadass video game style kick) was that it was a unanimous decision for Pettis. I had it at 2 rounds apiece for him and Henderson going into the final round with Pettis taking the final round even if for creativity alone. Great fight regardless and a fitting way to end the WEC and transition it to the UFC. Should be some damn good fight matchups for Dana White, Joe Silva and co. to put together from here on out.
Alright so I just had an issue with trying to eat while watching Rex Ryan's wife's videos, so I had to pull up one of my favorites to help me eat my pizza and I figured I'd share it here just for the hell of it.
Oh, and this Dynamite!! card in Japan this weekend is turning int some circus act, Bob Sapp in a match with no gloves and no closed fist strikes and Aoki vs the cross dresser in a half kickoxing half mma fight. [Reply]
Not just Dynamite!!, Sengoku's card is tonight! and it is sick let me tell you. I was supposed to be at Dynamite but I decided not to go to it because of the lingering rumors that it might not happen, didn't want to buy a ticket for a not sure thing. Chuck needed this. He got a really awesome job and always is financially secure through the uFC. Good and classy move by both parts. [Reply]
It was time... probably past time. But I'll miss The Ice Man. He was probably the first MMA fighter I ever even heard of. I missed most of his prime. [Reply]
