With RB Isiah Pacheco expected to be sideliend 6-8 weeks, the Chiefs are bringing their former RB Kareem Hunt back to Kansas City for a Tuesday visit, per league sources. Hunt could help fill the Chiefs’ running back void. pic.twitter.com/nDzNGlrcuH
They're well positioned to get the bye. Go 9-3 the rest of the way and you've got it locked in. Take care of business and you get the best of all worlds. [Reply]

Pretty hard to imagine that they won’t go at least 9–3 and they’ll probably do even better. I expect they will get the bye and we will probably even have a meaningless game for the last one. So I think having the bye at week six is perfect and they will be well rested for the playoffs also. [Reply]

Maybe in short yardage/goal line situations. Aside from that, i seriously doubt we'll see it very often. [Reply]

Perfect season will be on the line. We're playing to win. [Reply]

Pretty easy answer to me, really.
Hunt really has no burst at all to speak of. 13-15 yards may be the best he has in those legs.
But he's still powerful and has excellent vision.
So you use Pacheco between the 20s and you use Hunt in the Red Zone and short yardage situations. Perine as the 3rd down back but you sprinkle Hunt in for some tendency breakers in between the 20s as a pass catching option on 1st and 2nd down.
I don't think it's really going to be a problem. [Reply]
