The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

And would have been 3 of the last 3 if it wasn’t for a terrible kickoff decision.
This is a fallacy of logic known as "hypothesis contrary to fact." Your statement is wrong because it begins with a supposition that is contrary to reality. [Reply]

He's well aware, he tells us not to do it all the time.

Bills fans do it all the time and it drives me nuts.
It’s akin to “if Jalen Hurts didn’t fumble, Chiefs lose the Super Bowl”. It’s lame.
And it ignores other parts of the game. For example, Lions fans could say “if we didn’t cough the ball up in the red zone, we wouldn’t have needed that pick-6”.
It also ignores that the defense had the chance to stop the Lions offense and force a FG. But the Lions offense ran through the Chiefs defense like a hot knife through butter, with the game on the line, even though Spags knew they were going to run. That’s honestly the part i’d be most worried about (if anything).
Chiefs are going to be just fcking fine. Wouldn’t even surprise me if they go 15-1 the rest of the way. But the excuses are just lame when any teams fan does it.

Put another way… Allen’s 5 worst playoff games are better than all of Burrows combined (6).
Allen is just a better QB. Burrow is Kirk Cousins in stripes.
Ok. Allen is still mediocre in the playoffs with zero SB appearances despite having the #1 defense. Allen is a pale Cam Newton without the MVP and SB appearance. [Reply]
