Nzoner's Game Room>Chiefs trade Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins
Dante84 10:34 AM 03-23-2022
Will update OP with more info.

Here it is: The #Chiefs are trading six-time Pro Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the #Dolphins, sources tell me and @TomPelissero.

The return is a first-round pick and more, while Hill gets a contract extension that puts him among the highest paid WRs in the NFL.

Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources tell ESPN.

Option B is he wanted more money for himself in the “I want even more stuff” kind of way. Cars, houses etc which I’m calling him greedy on.

It doesn’t require a great deal of knowledge to come to the conclusion that it’s option B and Tyreek Hill wants more stuff.

But If by chance it is Option A, and he’s finically struggling with the money he’s making now then you’re right he has much bigger problems than winning.

Again see Nic Cage
If someone offered you twice what you do now, you'd change jobs. This argument always amuses me, people change jobs over money all the time.

Also at 28 this is likely Tyreek only shot at a big deal.

If the Chiefs find a legit WR1 in this draft, everything else will be gravy in terms of the trade.

It's not hard to understand.
The tweets are confusing on this. I think it's actually just the $70M (total) that becomes fully guaranteed in 2023, but I could be wrong.

If we win the super bowl next year let alone a stacked AFC West Veach deserves a guaranteed contract for life

Maybe I'm reading this wrong and bad at math but he signed a $120M deal and is guaranteed more than the contract is worth????

I don't think the $72.2M is new money. The difference between the $72.2M and the $52.235M or w/e at signing is the new money to total $72.2M.

Veach informed or gave a heads up to Mahomes before executing this trade, yes?

Yeah, I deleted it after digging around a bit. It's super confusing the way they wrote it, but I think you're right.

I get your point in theory at least. But he still won't be able to do what Reek can.

If they even win the division still, just build him a statue.

I mean, if this isn’t going to hurt us short term like we expect, it’s a huge win.

I didn't believe it when my friend at work told me. I was very upset and didn't believe it. So very sad.

You don't know shit about Tyreek Hill's personal life, bro.

So the 3 years guaranteed at about 75 million and a 4th non guaranteed year
