Spanish Gardens, used to be made in an old A+P? Grocery store the Silva's operated as a restaurant in the front, manufacturing in the back, in KC, KS 40+ years ago. Tho owners are the ones who taught my mother her recipe and techniques for her killer enchiladas which she would make 200 of them at one time. [Reply]
Turned out a little sweet, but excellent on a dog and Fritos. Texture was just right - that really fine burger texture. You get that by adding a little water or stick to the meat at the beginning, not actually browning the meat. [Reply]
I had roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade mac and cheese, French cut green beans, and made a loaf of bread in the machine. Glass of milk X 2 to wash it down. [Reply]
