Grilled 3 shoulder pork chops and 1 skirt steak. Simple olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt and pepper.

Steam fresh southwestern rice mice w peppers

Came out great.

The candy corn pizza seems to be a social media joke. Plays on how gross candy corn is to start with, how much worse it is to put on a pizza, but how much it looks like a normal pizza when you cook it. Kind of a twist on those chocolate dipped Brussels sprouts everyone threatens to give out for Halloween.

The icing pizza seems to be a CiCis thing. The icing is there because they make dessert pizzas [apple and cherry, IIRC}. But they'll also make any pizza you request. So 'punk kids' go in there and ask for a weird assortment of toppings, partially to fuck with the staff and partially to see if it meets some perverse taste test.

I don't think there's any broader sugar/pizza synergy.

I know about the candy corn and i assumed about cici's but sometimes you just have to see if he actually wasted a frozen pizza to take a picture. If I made it, I would have to take one bite, cut off the crust because Labs love pizza bones, and dig a hole and see if the grass dies.

I've posted this before, but I got my favorite burger ever last night. I'm only good for 3 or 4 of them a year because they're so indulgent. A lot of places around here royally fuck up handcut fries, but these are perfect, plus that garlic aioli. The Small Cheval burger in Chicago, it's the only thing on the menu besides a couple tap handles and a variety of $3 whiskey shots.

We're doing an old fashioned pot roast in the slow cooker today. Chuck roast, carrots, onion, celery, potatoes. Will turn the jus into a gravy. Will make killer leftover sandwiches, too.
