It wasn't just about the money. The Titans offered him a 2-year deal. It was reported at the time that other suitors were only offering 1.

How are Hopkins and Jones friends? Never knew this.

Except these guys arent sitting on some fortune. Most are broke a few years after they leave the game.

Yes, with good financial planning most would be set for life. But the sad truth is most go the same route as lottery winners.

We're talking about Hopkins, though. He's been paid multiple times and is sitting on a fortune.

I think I read that they go fishing together. CJ likes deepsea fishing, iirc.

Last night WAS a lame night for sports honestly......the MNF game wasn't even remotely entertaining, the World Series means nothing to me since the Royals are not in it....and Raw on Monday night was only 2 hours instead of 3 and what was on was pitifully done again.

Cool.:-)

As your confessor, do ten Hail Marys and I absolve you of this one sin:-)

I really don't see how it would be worse

I'm sure he is the best LT on the team. The problem is the difference between him and who would be used at guard is probably a huge chasm.

Would weaken the interior 3, which is a big strength of the team. But I get your point.
