Did you see Silva's fights versus Sonnen and Maia? He looked anything but Invincible. Dude will be 36 before he ever gets a chance to fight GSP. [Reply]

He was breathing hard at the end of the 4th tonight. He totally dominated but was tired. Like I said earlier in here, I am surprised Koshcheck didn't throw combinations while bull rushing in order to get a real chance at a takedown. Iw ould have like to have seen a lot more grappling tonight and what Koshcheck could have done on top. [Reply]

He can be a maringinal fighter.....he's just no ready for the big boys...
Dude, Koshcheck has come a long ways in a very short period of time. His standup for not having a background in it has grown by leaps and bounds fast. He got his ass wooped but still stood with GSP for 5 rounds. To call that amatuerish is beyond silly. Koshcheck isn't going anywhere but because GSP, the greatest hybrid fighter I have ever seen just happens to be the title holder in his division I am not sure he will be able to pass that.

Uhhh no. You don't want to go down this path again dude like you did with LEsnar.
If Sonnen can take Silva down and will and win what looks like 8-10 rounds on him, you think GSP, who has the best shot in all of MMA isn't going to do the same to hime? Except that GSP has better ground and pound.
Lord you say some dumb shit when it comes to MMA. [Reply]
Koscheck cant slip a jab or doesn't know what the fuck one is. GSP was dominant, would probably wrestlefuck silva. GSP = Chael with a little less muscle, and 100% more sub defense. I'd put money on GSP. [Reply]
I didn't get to watch the fight too well last night because I got there late, talked and couldn't hear the announcers the whole time but what the hell is the "superman punch"?
Seems pretty dangerous if someone gets a hold of your arm. What's the philosophy throwing yourself forward like that? Isn't it 101 to throw and keep feet back as much as possible in case you don't land? [Reply]

Its a fake. The way the leg comes off the ground makes it initially look like a low-kick is coming. When they stop to check the kick, the punch is on its way. The way GSP does it is masterful. [Reply]

Thanks for the input, first time I've heard of or seen that one by a pro. Next time I watch the fight I'll have to watch his feet better. I just seen him lunging in going for broke with the punch. Looked dangerous if someone gets a hold of the arm and uses his momentum against him.
I'm pretty sure GSP knows more than I do however. [Reply]
