Reid talked about this in his press conference. Said it was the first time Ware had been that active, and his legs were tired. Sounds like even though Ware has had some third down work, they’ve been very careful with him. Reid even said that they worried Ware’s injury was career ending. [Reply]

Sometimes, I listen to the wind in the trees and think to myself, "Wherefore doth the wind blow?"
Other times, I listen to the opposing team's radio calls on Game Pass.
I did that this week and the Susanna Hoffs' color guy (who is really good, BTW) said he walked the field before the game. He mentioned that, after the two big recent concerts, the grounds crew had to re-sod the field in a bunch of places. He seemed to think that Ware was getting tripped up on the seams.
I'm not sure that's 100% factual, but on the other hand, Ware's knees weren't real high on those moves. Just saying ...

I hate that my high school has a better playing field than the Chiefs. Natural grass is fine for stadiums in warm weather cities, but we aren't a warm weather city.
Not only does painted dirt look like crap on TV, but right now our team is built around speed, and our playing surface slows down players not named Tyreek Hill, especially when new sod has been laid down.
I know that the astroturf was terrible and needed to go, but I wish we would go to a field turf surface.

fuck no. Football is played outside, on grass and dirt. Not indoors or on fucking carpet. Fuck no. I don't care what the field looks like. It's how it's supposed to be. [Reply]

I do wish the Kareem got the blocking of that dildo from Denver. Good God, he was typically untouched for the first 9 or so yards. Some of that has to do with our terrible linebackers and safeties, but some of that is blocking/scheme as well. [Reply]

I hadn't noticed until watching this slowly load that Erving basically catches Hunt and helps him keep his feet when #31 hits Hunt as he's coming down off the hurdle. Pretty cool. [Reply]
