I didn't buy it, got it for Fathers day and left it in the drawer ignored for almost two months.
I already had a meat temp system for smoking that I have had at least 10 years and didn't see the value in this "meater" just like new dual systme my wife gave me for Christmas that I have ignored, still.
I decided to try "meater" on my ribeye steaks a week ago, amazing. Wife's med rare was perfect and so was my medium. Had ribeyes again tonight, same result, perfection.
No guesswork in steak perfection any longer!
Had to check this thread out and what I said 5 years ago is far from true. The "meater" quit working shortly after this and was not backed up by the company. They basically told me to fuck off.
So, this last Christmas the Mrs. got me another one at a tremendous price and I was shocked. We sent it back, they are not worth $200.
That being said, my favorite purchase by far is my Sole F63 treadmill. Just about to roll over 2000 miles on it, that is how I start my day every morning. [Reply]
I've been through a lot of shower heads to find the right one. My favorite is Moen 26100SRN. Don't get the ECO, just get the standard. When you get it, remove the restrictor in the head. Also, purchase Moen 187053 to replace the plastic piece that comes with the shower head and WILL eventually break. This combo maximizes our water pressure, is super easy to point it where we want it, and the magnetic head/base is flawless. You can have your eyes closed and reach up to place the shower head and the magnets just pull it to the right spot. It really is convenient and highly functional. Now go buy this showerhead and clean ya ass. [Reply]

I actually bought one of those based on your recommendations. My wife had mentioned wanting something like that. It still sits on our counter waiting for its first use. I guess we didn't need it as much as we thought. [Reply]

I looked into it a bit. It definitely appears that it doesn't do much if anything to increase the pressure by itself. Which the reviews seem to confirm. I mean, it's the water itself that makes the fan spin, so it's not really adding any energy. [Reply]
Guys, just taking out the flow restrictor will turn even the cheapest shower head into a "high pressure" head. Unless it has a mechanical pump built into the head, you'll never get more pressure that what comes into your house from the well/city supply. [Reply]
Yeah if your pressure sucks quick fix is to see if you have a water saver bs in the head like FlaChief58 mentioned. If you have problems with pressure overall you need your pressure control valve checked and adjusted.
Some municipality's water departments will do a pressure check and even adjust it. If that doesn't help it may need replacement. [Reply]
Anytime there is a water main break the pressure in the line bleeds off. If they bring it back up to pressure after the fix too fast without opening a few hydrants in the area it can screw up your pressure valve. You would hear your pressure valves venting off the pressure. It sounds like an air compressor with an air blower nozzle coming through your pipes. This can screw up the settings are damage your pressure valve. It happens a lot as they get lazy. [Reply]

Yeah I was actually going to say the only thing that fan is accomplishing is restricting the water flow...ya know like the opposite of what you're looking to achieve LOL [Reply]

Ours was awesome for a while. Then it quit working and I think the company was young enough then that they hadn't learned yet how to support their product. [Reply]
