i hate to say it but James looks like the real deal. Wish we have drafted him. That was a hell of play by James- if not it would have hit DAT right in the numbers for a TD.
James is the real deal for sure.
Oh well. Can't have all the best players. There's no way in hell we ever had a shot at the kid. [Reply]

That angle is fantastic.
If he doesn't drop down, it's probably deflected by 44 into that mess of defenders near the goal-line for an easy shot at a pick.
I also wonder if his eyes were a little off center of target. Look at how 44 dekes a bit as Mahomes starts his delivery. He's clearly not expecting the ball to be that far to his right and he's staring right at Mahomes. Makes you think he did something with his eyes to create that lane.
I want nothing more then to have Mahomes come out this Sunday and make the Steelers defense his bitch. Say around 325 yards with 3 TDs and 0 INTs. But I want those mostly to be long drawn out drives that keeps our defense off the field. [Reply]
Man I have a feeling those inside passes are going to be a staple of this offense. It’s going to be hard as hell to stop and it only takes 2 seconds for the entire play to happen negating the pass rush. [Reply]

Brady has been living on those passes his entire career. [Reply]
The way he found that ball, changed direction and then kept himself in between the throw and DAT.
Mahomes did everything right. H throws that towards the E on the Chargers and James can keep going in the same direction to make an easy play on the ball. He puts it further towards the post and DAT can't get to it. About the only thing you could say is that if he puts just a little more on the throw he might have given DAT the ability to straight out a bit and get past James' arm but when you look like you've got a guy turned around like that, the last thing you want to do is overthrow it.
Just tip your cap. There aren't 5 safeties in the league that make that play. That's remarkable. [Reply]
