As much as I wish he was on the field doing great things for the Chiefs this wall-to-wall coverage is getting silly. He's out for a month, maybe more, and if he comes back he might be welcomed back with a suspension to serve for his off-field actions, nobody knows. At this point, as awesome as he is as a player, he's becoming a distraction this team doesn't need.
The Chiefs need to plan for him to be out for the rest of the season and move on focusing on the next man up. [Reply]

A Browns player did this last year
To do that he most likely needs to resolve the criminal charges. That may have more to do with the prosecutor and what he is willing to take. I mean he is facing 8 felonies, he may be lucky not to do a little jail time. [Reply]

One thing we didn't get to in TNF postgame (b/c of OT): Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is expected to have his knee scoped next week after the swelling goes down, per sources. There's fear of ACL damage, and also PCL damage.
Docs will know more after going in and set a plan from there.

Exactly the case. Or focus on the "Next man in" if they're going to make a trade.
I really think it's more of a distraction to us, I think the players are used to this kind of stuff.
IMO, Rice's knee is ****ed up, and no way am I counting on him to return this season. [Reply]

I'm no orthopedist, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express after each of my ten orthopedic surgeries (4 x knees, 4 x hips, 2 x shoulders, almost all due to skiing). I seriously doubt that a guy with a torn ACL is going to be walking around in a just sleeve, but without a brace to keep his knee stable. [Reply]
