I had it 48-46. No idea how that 2nd round wasn't a 10-8 on any of the scorecards. [Reply]

I thought he'd retire after like his last 8 fights but he keeps trucking along. Lost 4 out of his last 5 fights now. Clearly just fighting because he likes it and for the money of course. Bout time to hang em up dude. [Reply]
Nobody in that division is going to give Usman a run Colby is the closest. I'd be cool with a trilogy but let Uzi get his bag and fight Canelo first [Reply]

Canelo would eat Usman alive, that fight is just purely a money fight for Usman. He knows, he does not stand a chance against Canelo, but getting a huge bag of money, why not getting your ass kicked for some minutes. Unfortunately for Usman, the fight doesn’t make sense for Canelo. It’s not like Usman is the next Conor McGregor and we are talking about 50-100 million dollar each, the problem with Usman is that despite his absolute pure quality, he just cannot create much hype surrounding his personality, no trash talk, no big followers. Just look how staked this card was, Usman cannot sell a card like this just with his name, Colby was a factor in this as well.
Regardless of that, Usman is just too good for all other fighters in his division. The only fighter that would bring some new aspects and challenges would be Khamzat Chimaev, but Khamzat needs 2 fights against top 6 opponents before getting to Usman. I can see Usman sticking around for at least 2 more fights, breaking the record of Anderson Silva (16 fights without defeat) and setting a new one, let’s hope we see him fighting Khamzat and Khamzat is no one trick pony, until that I don’t see anyone keeping up with Usman, Colby is the best fighter in that division apart from Usman and he struggled tonight. I give Burns a shot to beat Usman. He had Usman hurt in their first fight, Colby doesn't hurt Usman. Burns just needs to stay composed and not go full Cody Garbrandt. [Reply]

Khamzat Chimaev will eat Usman's children. That dude is nuts. [Reply]
