At least they have that joyride around Arrowhead to look back on when they get their asses stomped twice this year. Not even the refs will be able to save them. [Reply]

Josh Jacobs is overrated. The only reason he was top 10 in rushing yards is because he was 3rd in carries. Dude averaged 3.9 ypc 43rd in the league below guys like Kenyan drake, Myles Gaskin, James Conner, David Montgomery, Jerome Robinson & Melvin Gordon, just to name a few.
Jonathan Abrams is atrocious, PFF has an overall grade of 35.9 on him.
Oh and Ferrell was the 4th pick in the 1st round :-).
Ruggs, Arnette and Bryan Edwards weren’t anything to brag about.
They traded their 3rd round pick Lynn Bowden Jr before he played one snap.
Gruden and Mayock have no clue what they’re doing.

When you have a former NFL Draft guru as your GM, it’s expected that you might see a few former highly thought of prospects given a chance to return to their former glory. Today the Raiders officially added linebacker Darron Lee, making him the latest example of that.
Mike Mayock had Lee as his third best LB prospect in the 2016 draft. Lee would be drafted by the Jets with the 20th overall pick. His career did not turn out as expected and by the 2020 season, Lee was trying to find his way onto an NFL roster, spending the entire season on the Bills’ practice squad.
Lee spent the first three seasons of his career in New York. His time there ended in 2018 when he was suspended four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
He was given a second chance in 2019 with the Chiefs, but started just two games and seeing most of his time on special teams.
Along with Lee, the Raiders added veteran journeyman CB De’Vante Bausby. To make room on the roster they waived CB TJ Morrison. [Reply]

This is why you don't see more "draft gurus" as GMs. On TV you can be wrong all the time and still somehow be employed as there are literally zero consequences. Not so in the NFL. I think Mayock's best pick since he has been there has probably been Crosby and that's probably more of a lucky he panned out than knowing he would be a later round steal. [Reply]

The media still treat the guy like a Super Star. Faders are bringing in our old retreads and guys with suspension histories. Smells like fear. :-) [Reply]
The Raiders have had a lot of suckage for years. I think it's time the fans got together and paid a pilot to fly a banner around the stadium if they don't improve this year. Seems to have worked for the Chiefs. [Reply]

Leave it to Raider fans to fly banners over a domed stadium. :-) [Reply]
