Same people who talk about the NFC rep being a super team will tell you that Mahomes got an easy draw after the game.
They have to specify "the better OVERALL team"
What do you mean? Do the Chiefs have Mahomes?
"Yeah, but everywhere ELSE the NFC team is better!"
Okay, but does that matter if the Chiefs have Mahomes? They DO still have Mahomes, right? So aren't the Chiefs a better team?
"No because that one RB!!!!"
Starting RBs to beat Mahomes in the playoffs: James White, Ronald Jones, and Joe Mixon. Starting RBs to lose to Mahomes: Derrick Henry, Raheem Mostert, Nick Chubb, Christian McCaffrey...

"Yeah but what about the weapons!!!"
Sigh.
It is weird how people try to remove the QB from the roster in these discussions.
If you take away LeBron from those Heat teams, I’m not sure they’re better than the Thunder. [Reply]

I think the focus will be to contain Say WHat? Not give up big plays. Spags is going to trust Mahomes led O to not make it necessary to take risks on D. Spags WILL risk it if the pot is big enough. If Eagles get 3rd and long and opportunity to get ball back with 2 score lead(Pot is big enough).
Other example of pot being big enough, 4rth and 5 vs Bills, (Spags went all in). [Reply]
I don’t know a whole lot about the eagles but this better roster thing seems overblown. The chiefs have a damn good roster and defense. I’m sick of hearing the eagles have such a better roster I guess. [Reply]

Same. We don't have many holes on our roster except tackle and Caliendo and maybe safety. And with that said we have alot of guys that can do alot of things interchangeably on defense in the secondary which Spags likes.
I don't see the Eagles Dline and secondary as exceptionally better than ours. Same with WR. Better? Yeah but marginally. We still have the goat QB, TE, and coach and that wins more often than not. [Reply]
On Reddit and their msg board, a lot of Eagles fans are confident not just in a win but a lopsided one or blowout. They look at their team’s performance and talent thru the entire season and feel they are a great team this year, clearly the best in league. I hope we get the Philly team who played GB and Rams in playoffs, not the monster that put up 55 last week. [Reply]

Wash had a lot of turnovers… We take care of the ball we are golden… [Reply]

Yeah but Eagles converted on every one of those turnovers for TD’s. That’s the monster. They got a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. It’s gonna take the Chiefs A game. [Reply]
We may need to score on every possession. I’ll be watching early and often Eagles D-line vs. our protection in scheme and physicality. With Thuney at left tackle, Carter could have a day against Caliendo. That’s a massive weakness. And the right side with Jawaan versus edge rusher Nolan Smith?
If Caliendo is getting his poop chute pushed in what kind of adjustments will Andy make to remedy it?
But, Mahomes will have to be the equalizer… [Reply]

Are you fucking reeruned? Washington has a garbage defense and turned the ball over 4 times on the road. Of course they got 50+ dropped on them.
Going to the opposing teams board and getting scared based on their predictions? The better question is are you an actual Chiefs fan or just a troll? Because even CP's biggest coward isn't this much of a fucking pussy. [Reply]

I wonder how they call the game against the RTs. Are they still going to pick on Taylor while the RT on the other side plays the exact same way? [Reply]
