Ferrell, Abrams and Jacobs all 3 drafted in the 1st round. Josh Jacobs was among the least efficient running backs of the 2020 season, finishing 43rd of 51 backs with 100+ carries in YPC (3.9). Josh Jacobs is overrated. The only reason he was top 10 in rushing yards is because he was 3rd in carries. Dude averaged 3.9 ypc 43rd in the league below guys like Kenyan drake, Myles Gaskin, James Conner, David Montgomery, Jerome Robinson & Melvin Gordon, just to name a few.
Jonathan Abrams is atrocious, PFF has an overall grade of 35.9 on him.
Oh and Ferrell was the 4th pick in the 1st round :-).
Ruggs, Arnette and Bryan Edwards weren’t anything to brag about.
They traded their 3rd round pick Lynn Bowden Jr before he played one snap.

Exactly. I kind of miss the days when those Raiders-Chiefs weren’t glorified preseason games. It’s hard to get too excited about the divisional games when we play in such a shitty division that you’re given a 2-3 game cushion pretty much regardless of the outcomes since the rest of the teams are so shitty right now.
I think Herbert could potentially tighten up the chains in the division a little and that should help, but you could tell this team doesn’t play to the same level of urgency anymore in those divisional games with as big of a leash as they know they have. It will be interesting to see who the Raiders try to replace Gruden with next year. [Reply]
Gruden, from 2019: "If we came up with the money to make the (Khalil Mack) contract happen, we wouldn’t have Trent Brown, we wouldn't have Antonio Brown, Lamarcus Joyner, and Vontaze Burfict, we wouldn’t have Tyrell Williams" ... Raiders did also get two 1st rounders for a 2nd.
The Raiders have had a mid season collapse the past two years. Nothing to write home about and they def need to improve. Funny thing is most of the guys they handed out big contracts to didn't play much or at all and they still went 8-8. That is bad management and bad luck.
Trent Brown - couple of games
Tyrell Williams - Out for the year
Lamarcus Joyner - Played all year
Incognito - few games
Cutting these 4 players got the Raiders under the cap and have given the Raiders 30M+ in available cap space. Mariota will probably be cut next saving an additional 10M. Giving the Raiders roughly about 40M in cap space to play with. This year will be interesting for free agents as there is less money to go around due to the lower cap so the Raiders might be able to pick up some bargains. Well, after watching minicamp practices Tuesday and Wednesday and talking to people in the building, Arnette has become almost an after-thought. The Raiders signed veteran Casey Hayward in May and all but handed him Arnette’s starting job opposite Trayvon Mullen. There was some speculation that one might move to slot corner but neither has practiced there yet.
