Sports media- also includes talk radio dipshit.
And they have spent the last few days talking about IP and his vision.

There is more to being a RB than looking good getting off the bus and being fast. Buuut he is still intriguing with his pass catching ability. We don't really need an RB to run the ball. I'd prefer to just have a bruiser because we should really only run on goalline and 2nd and 2s and stuff.

If you averaged 3.9 ypc in college last year, either you have bad vision or a terrible, terrible offensive line. But most likely a combination of both.
Pretty obvious that is his big weakness. It's how a big back with a 4.37 40-yard dash is a 7th round draft pick. The good news is the Chiefs shouldn't give a shit if a RB is good at running the ball or not, just how they pass block or how they catch passes in the offense. It appears Pacheco may be able to excel in this aspect. [Reply]
so maybe we got a little carried away meme'ing about him looking like Walter Payton and Barry Sanders. We should downgrade our expectations with comparisons like ladainian Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander and Edgerrin James instead. [Reply]

You could be right, but it has only been 2 preseason games. The Chiefs should be able to coach him up-he is a smart kid.
I was calling King a dipshit btw- not you. :-) [Reply]

Chris Warren and Ricky Waters would be cool [Reply]
It wasn't just Pacehco's vision that was questioned in the draft, it was his ability to break tackles. He looks the part but my understanding is he was poor after contact. Not every draft pick is us magically identifying talent that everyone else has missed. I think he could end up being a decent blocking and receiving RB and on this roster that might still have value. I know many on here don't pay attention to the rest of the NFL, but everybody's running game looke pretty bad in the preseason. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it's hard to practice in TC.
