Here’s a first look at your newest Kansas City Chief, @fanudike. pic.twitter.com/P0T2q0UFmG

Felix Anudike-Uzomah was drafted with pick 31 of round 1 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 8.73 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 209 out of 1634 DE from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/maz03OdBwq pic.twitter.com/xoMJ9ki2Pv

Veach said the #Chiefs had 16-18 players with first round grades and Felix was one of them.

Also said a couple AFC teams weren’t interested in trading with Kansas City.

Naturally.

Felix Anudike-Uzomah, just now: "I got drafted by literally my favorite team growing up."

Who will be tasked to recommend Tamba as his trainer this offseason?

See, this is the problem here.

If you're going to complain, at least pay attention first, so you know what you're complaining about.

People complaining that FAU can't even get snaps in a week 18 glorified pre-season game when he actually got 73% of the snaps.

Damn, man. Are you just complaining to hear yourself type?

Guilty, wasn’t paying much attention, and was going off another post a bit further up.

That post was referring to him not getting a lot of snaps this season. Not yesterday. No one who actually watched the game yesterday could've come away thinking he didn't get a lot of snaps yesterday.

But hey, don't let facts get in the way of an opportunity to shit on the kid and the people who drafted him.

So probably a stupid question, but how does one improve their first step quickness? Is it somehow a matter of technique? Because my initial thought would be that it’s a matter of quickness and athleticism, if you’re not that athletic you’re not going to be fast off the snap. But FAU seems to have pretty good athleticism, so surely that isn’t it. Is it just anticipation of the snap?

I hope next year we use our first round pick on someone who will contribute straight away. It's a tad deflating seeing how bad our offense is and yet we drafted a guy who's come into a stacked DE room. Perhaps FAU is going to be a real asset in the future but Ive always thought first round picks should be playing unless they're either shit or a QB for the future.

Watch FAU's college tape then watch the game yesterday.

You know how they always talk about being able to play fast in year 2 becuase they're not thinking as much?

That's the issue.

We had a rookie WR contribute "straight away" which is why it makes no sense how so many of you continue to complain about him not contributing while our offense is "bad".

If not we would've used that pick on one of these stud rookie WRs like Rashee Rice!

Just pretend that Rice was our 1st round pick and FAU was our 2nd.

What's so wrong in selecting a TE like Laporta to replace Blake Bellend and have him hopefully usurp Gray at the #2 TE spot, with an eye on him being the successor to an elderly Kelce in 2 or 3 years? Also have you seen our o-line?

:-)

Anybody talking about LaPorta is completely full of shit and 100% operating in hindsight.

Nobody had LaPorta as a 1st rounder, and not a single person on this board, or anywhere, was pounding the table for him at 31.

Also, what stud rookie OT did the Chiefs pass on at 31?

Hey bloke would you say you're knackered about this? Am I using that correctly? Hope you're doing well despite the FAU situation Womble!
