They need help on D, and ultimately they have to find an upgrade for Carr. At that point, we'll see if Gruden is good enough or not.
I recently watched a video describing the collapse of the 02 Bucs, and something I didn't realize was how much Gruden avoided restocking on defensive players and went all in on offense, ultimately leading to his demise. I don't see it playing out any differently here, especially with how easily he gave up Mack. [Reply]

Ruggs is an A+ or A- how exactly? He did absolutely nothing.
Jacobs was a solid pick, but he still hasn’t proven that he can handle a huge workload for a full season.
Given the circumstances, Ruggs was fine. And there's no question he has elite speed, runs a decent route, and has decent hands. For 2020, he's a B+/A- in my book.
Jacobs is a top 10 RB in the NFL. For any team in any era that makes him a A+ draft pick. [Reply]
Does Ritchie really count? He was out almost the entire year. Also hearing he's going to resign for much less cash. Not that I'm counting on a guy in his late 30's. [Reply]

I suppose not but when he was healthy, he was still a good player, albeit a total asshole who you are probably better off without. [Reply]
I’ve kind of missed being able to talk shit to the Donkey and Raiders fans. Can’t wait for them to try to sneak out of hiding next month to boast about their draft choices before we inevitably put them back into hiding in the fall. Rivalries aren’t too fun when they become this one sided. [Reply]

They're much much more fun when the Chiefs always kick their ass. I'd like to keep it that way. [Reply]
Can confirm the #Patriots will acquire offensive tackle Trent Brown and a seventh-round pick in 2022 from the Raiders in exchange for a fifth-round pick. Brown, who was terrific in his one year in NE, has a agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $11 million. ESPN first to report.
