Man!!!! I love Andy Reid. The @Chiefs and Andy Reid are offensive line savants. Kingsley Suamataia has big time potential. I think he he can be awesome guard or tackle. Just needs a little technique work. He is an aggressive killer who is great athlete.
Kingsley Suamataia is a versatile offensive tackle who split his 1,300 career snaps at BYU almost exactly down the middle between left and right tackle.
My favorite line from Dane Brugler's draft guide: "He delivers more pancakes than Denny's"
Traitsy OT w/ great size+athleticism+strengt. Easy range in the run game to pull or climb to landmarks or hit set points in slide. Patient hand usage to stay square and trust his lateral agility. Pad level & overall technique should develop in NFL. pic.twitter.com/p9zOJEuMkr

Well, Donovan Smith is out there. And how could Baktiari be any worse than Kingsley? He could even just be a backup for break glass when needed if Morris ever goes down. [Reply]
i dont think he is expected to be a top level starting LT from the get go
days like today will help him develop, unless he quits or whatever
I know people don't watch Giants games, but Andrew Thomas was fucking WRETCHED his rookie year. Turned into a top 5 LT after that until he got hurt.
I'm not predicting that for Kingsley or saying Andrew Thomas is the expectation. But yeah, you're right. It's totally possible for him to fix his shit.
It's just probably not going to happen this season when we need him. So make him an auto redshirt. Get back to him next year. That's the treatment that LDT got, and we never declared him to be unfixable because we just never saw him play as a rookie. [Reply]
I'd prefer that he just grab onto the rushers than what he's been doing if he is completely incapable of keeping them in front of him for longer than a second. At least Mahomes won't take repeated blind side shots that could knock him out for the season that way.
What he did today was totally unacceptable. [Reply]

Wonder if veach had his eye on Rosengarten who got picked by the ravens one pick ahead of us. He’s had a very solid rookie year for the ravens at right tackle. [Reply]
This is probably why we are not getting sacks also. Our defense is going up against him and doing well in practice. And come nfl gametime facing actual nfl talent. [Reply]

No. There was a ton of smoke pre draft about Reid really liking Suamataia. Wasn't just the BYU connection that everyone thinks is a thing either, they did a ton of pre draft work on him including a top 30 visit. [Reply]
I’ve been a Kingsley supporter all year. But to see him come in and shit the bed like that was very disappointing. He looks like a future guard to me. For as athletic as he is he can not go backwards very well. His kick step is very slow and mechanical. Moving to guard would be the best option for his future.
If Wanya gets hurt again I’d rather see Ethan Driskoll given a chance at LT to see what we have there. [Reply]
