I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

Who Dat was a thing in lower sports levels in Louisiana going pretty far back. It's been a while since i've read up on it but they started doing it as "Who Dey" at Bengals games in 1981. For lack of a better term it just kind of happened then. I'd guess some people knew about it and started doing it at games and it just caught on.
The Saints didn't start doing it at their games until 1983.
So basically it was kind of a song lyric (i think) in Louisiana way back, then college and high schools started doing it there, then the Bengals did it, then the Saints did it. [Reply]

One would think the mayor of a city has much more important work to do than talking trash about an athlete in another city. If I was a non-sports person in Cincy, I would be annoyed that he wasted time on that stunt. It’s embarrassing. [Reply]
