Pass rushers, offensive lineman, RBs, LBs, WRs, etc. the elite players deserve to get paid big money too not just QB. They contribute a lot and QBs an't win without help.
Ask any NFL GM and they'll say the same thing. They don't pay these guys big money for fun or charity.
Lulz you were saying the same shit nut hugging Alex [Reply]

Not much they can do but try to win the way they have been
They're the same people who think you should just lose every game until you can draft and take the first overall QB. [Reply]

There are 3/4 elite QB's in the league, with Mahomes being GOAT level at the top. If you don't have one of those, you're pretty much swimming uphill. [Reply]

I don't know if you are one of those but plenty posters here say how overrated Brady is when comparing him to Mahomes. But now when a position other than QB gets paid they aren't worth it because they aren't a QB. So which is it?
Yes I was wrong about Alex Smith to an extent but not with this.
Once again ask any NFL GM or if say HC if the QB is the only position worth paying and lmk what they say [Reply]

That Is the point. Keep swinging until you hit one or you are wasting time. Dud the history of the KC Chiefs teach you nothing? Imagine if the team did what alot wanted and kept rolling with Alex instead of trading up and taking a risk. [Reply]

Brady was lucky as fuck but he obviously evolved into an elite QB. It was a complete fluke he ever amounted to what he did. [Reply]

Agreed.
2019 was the Jimmy G overthrow to Sanders.
2021 was the ridiculously easy Tartt INT drop.
2022 was a freak Purdy injury.
2023 was the Greenlaw injury. Or maybe the muffed punt.
Change any one of those plays and they could easily have hoisted a Lombardi. They’re very close and have been for a while now. [Reply]
It's been two Super Bowls in a row where Mahomes and his team of (apparent) losers and incompetent assholes were going to get pounded to dust by the supposed better overall team.
"The QB isn't nearly as good as Mahomes, but they've got balance and can sustain long drives that will keep Mahomes off the field"
Somebody remind me again how that worked out for them [Reply]

They swung for the fences with Lance and ended up finding a guy who’s brought them to the NFCCG and Super Bowl in his first two seasons.
Purdy may not be the answer but I feel like they’re playing the position as well as could be hoped. They brought in the veteran guy, almost won with him, realized he wasn’t the long-term solution, drafted the QBotf, realized he wasn’t the guy, shipped him off, then started Mr Irrelevant over the incumbent veteran when they realized he could play.
