It’s extremely close to jumping the shark for me. [Reply]
Done. It's not like last season sucked or anything, but this was much better. Nearly as good as the first season. Really fun, nostalgic and enjoyable as hell. [Reply]
I thought the coolest part was his meeting with the baddy from the second movie. It was a bit obvious that Daniel would end up using those techniques later on, but the way they did it was awesome.
Wife and I watched the whole thing yesterday. I liked it. At first, the first few episodes were a little trying for me. It felt like filler while they were trying to get the story fired up again. I was hoping they were just going to make it 3 seasons, but I realized by episode 8 that was not going to happen. How long can they keep this going? Hopefully they don't run it into the ground.
Spoiler!
I appreciate the background on Crees, but seriously, it's pretty hard to understand his motivations to create an army of little assassins, why are their parents allowing that shit and paying for it, what is Johnny actually doing for money, blah blah blah.
I did enjoy it, though it's reeeeeally stretching reality. Which is fine I guess, but if this were real life, the cops would have been called long ago, Crees would be in jail or a lunatic asylum, every one of the Cobras would be arrested and incarcerated...but hey, let go of all that and it's a fun show.
