We're past the 53 man cut-down, both our rosters are for the most part set in stone. It's time to talk real football.
Ravens lost a few players on defense this offseason, but acquired Henry. LJ has been talking big about how much weight he's lost this offseason to be faster than ever, I suppose. Don't know much about their draft, but the Ravens traditionally draft well so I'll assume the same this year.
We're likely down Hollywood Brown, but no other major injuries.
Chiefs have lead by double digits every game against the ravens since Mahomes took over. Most games are not as close as the final score due to garbage time points.
It took a CEH fumble and the Chiefs defense playing at an historically bad level for the ravens to get the 1 victory in the series.

Gonna have Lamar taking a shit break by the early 4th QTR.
Me too. I'm the biggest football and chiefs nerd you'll ever meet and I get so damn stoked for football, but this year it's on a whole new level. I think part of it is the potential this team has, but I think another major factor is I'm excited to see some speed and deep balls on offense again. Last year's defense was amazing, but nothing is more fun that watching Patrick sling it all over the field.
Also, the 12 team college playoff is exciting too. [Reply]
Coach Reid has a habit of not callin the best plays, and Spags seems ta stay away from the flashy defenses, when we play contenders.
Which is why those teams have beaten the greatest team in the history of football during the regular season, but were in turn badly beaten in the postseason.
The Chiefs can still win with their plain jane plays and a couple breaks.
IIWII, and takin an irrelevant L during the regular season to preserve the surprises during the post has proven to pay off in the past. [Reply]

Signing Trey is a mistake. We can't pay 4 out of the 5 positions on the o-line. It should have been either him or Creed. Then draft fill the other position. [Reply]

Agree.
Unless he took a massive discount I don't see how this makes sense.
Draft your guards.
And I like Bolton a lot as a player but don't want to pay big money to an off-ball LB in this scheme. [Reply]
Let’s not forget that after how last season ended for Baltimore they have this game circled. This is their SB while it’s another game for KC. Granted it’s opening night so KC will be ready. There are 16-18 teams that will play in the SB this year.
1. KC (obviously)
2. Their NFC opponent
3-18. Every team that plays KC this year. [Reply]
