All it took for the Lions to beat the Chiefs was to have 2 of our 3 best players not playing, a fake punt from their own 20, a pick 6 where Toney practically handed the defender the ball, and for our entire receiving room, except Watson, to throw up all over themselves especially in the 4th quarter. Other than those things, these two teams are about the same.

OL was very, very good in pass pro
Pacheco was fine
The full Defense was great against a good offense
Butker was perfect
Tommy was great

WR’s made mistakes, bad calls in short yardage, and we lost by 1 against a good team.

I think we’ll get it corrected. We’ll get HOF Kelce back. We’ll get All Pro Jones back at some point. We’ll get Omenihu back.

Annoying as hell, but a wake up call for the WR crew and our coaches for short yardage packages.
