Bills send an overload with Cov 1 man behind it, it is picked up well except Steele whiffs on the edge. Juju on the drag probably gets completed if Mahomes has time. pic.twitter.com/82PwcBrmNu
I have no clue why he's getting snaps. Literally everything he does except have great hair, I like Perine better. I dunno, does Steele do punt coverage? Maybe punt coverage.
I think Perine should be shouldering some of the load from Hunt too.
Maybe I'm just too high on Perine, but I don't think I'm too low on Steele. Doesn't catch the ball especially well, isn't fast, and doesn't run any harder than Perine, just does so with less vision. [Reply]

I see why Reid likes Steele so much; it's his versatility. He can play both backfield positions, return kicks, and play special teams, and plays them all with a full head of steam. That's a nice player to try and develop, but so far I haven't seen any flashes that he can be really good at any of those roles.
He's a jack of all trades, and we all know how much Andy and Toub love those guys. I don't think this dude is going anywhere for a while, might as well get used to it. [Reply]

Except...he can't.
No more so than I can, anyway.
He's not a jack of all trades - he's simply sub-standard at every single thing we ask him to do.
It's pretty ridiculous that this guy is on the roster at this point. He doesn't know what he's doing and blows up 2-3 plays seemingly every single game. [Reply]
